Gate valves are used for on/off type control to flow of fluid, it is not used for regulating or throttling the flow. Globe valve is used for control to flow of fluid. They are used for regulating or throttling the flow process. Its ball valves include side entry one piece ball valve, side entry two-piece ball valve, and side entry three-piece ball valve. Its butterfly valves include resilient seated butterfly valves.
